Step 1: Salt Selection
We begin with premium pink Murray River flake salt, known for its delicate texture and pure mineral flavour. Each batch is carefully measured to ensure consistency.
Step 2: Wood Preparation
Our signature blends use carefully selected woods - from robust hickory to mellow applewood and our custom house blend. Each wood is prepared to create the perfect smoke.
Step 3: Cold Smoking (Up to 72 Hours)
The salt is cold-smoked at low temperatures to preserve the delicate flake structure while infusing deep, complex smoky flavours. This patient process can take up to 72 hours.
Step 4: Hand Packaging
Each batch is hand-packaged in Brisbane, ensuring quality control and that personal touch that makes our salts special.
